TD05H-16G Turbocharger for Subaru WRX, Legacy GT, Outback, and Forester

The Kinugawa TD05H-16G is a direct-fit performance turbocharger upgrade for 2005-2014 Subaru EJ20 and EJ25 engines. This turbocharger replaces factory Mitsubishi TF035HM, TD04L-13T, and IHI VF40/VF46/VF52 turbos with improved airflow and response characteristics.

Core Specifications

CHRA: TD05H-16G with journal bearing and 360-degree thrust bearing

Compressor wheel: 48.3mm inducer / 68.0mm exducer with choice of 6+6 blades (optimized for low-end torque) or 11+0 blades (optimized for top-end speed)

Turbine wheel: 56.0mm inducer / 49.2mm exducer, available in three configurations:

  • 12 Blades STD (standard response)
  • 9 Blades STS (Superior Turbine Strike for improved spool)
